Good Turn For Goodwill Service Project
The Girl Scouts of Chesapeake Bay are partnering with Goodwill to offer an opportunity for girls to participate in the “Good Turn for Goodwill Service Project”. The service project will run from Jan 1, 2012 to Feb 29, 2012. Girls and their families are asked to collect items from their homes, family, friends and neighbors and deliver them to a participating Goodwill location (see flyer). Patches will be awarded to all girls collecting two or more bags of donations (13 gallon kitchen trash bags). The Troop collecting the most bags of donations will also receive a Pizza Party. Copies of donation receipts should be sent to Sue Rowe at the Newark office by March 10th. Please include your Troop # and Scout’s name on the receipt. Contact Sue Rowe at 302-456-7171 with any questions. Download flyer for more info.

A Good Read
Great tool for "It's Your Story, Tell It!" Journey
The author has offered to do SKype visits with Troops who are readying or have read her book. "And now, I’m looking forward to continuing the conversation and talking to current Girl Scouts about Daisy and their own Girl Scout experiences! (I’ll be doing some skype visits with troops who have read the book, so feel free to email me at shana@shanacorey.com if you’d like." Click HERE for more info.
